PANTHER CREEK SOUTH

Daviess County Parks and Recreation is proud to recognize our newest addition, "Panther Creek Park South", located approximately 1/4 mile south of Panther Creek Park's main entrance. The new addition features an 18 hole disc golf course and a new nature trail system much like Panther Creek Park. It offers an entirely new opportunity for wildlife and nature study for park visitors and nature enthusiasts. A variety of wildlife, deer, turkey, raccoon, fox and coyote
have been observed in this section of the park.

Seven (7) elevated walkways will enable the public to enjoy a hike through the wooded area even during flood times. The newest trail system includes unusual signage for visual display of trees, fruit, and descriptive narratives.
