Panther Creek Park

Pleasant Grove School House

• Built in 1876 

• Believed to be the oldest one room school remaining 

• School Closed in 1937

• Attendance ranged from 15-30 students

• Some students walked 2 miles to school

• 8 grades were taught

• moved to Panther Creek in 1998

• Leadership provided by Mrs. William Kuegel and Daviess County Fiscal Court

• Unique site for students to experience early education techniques

• Call office for reservations at 685-6142
