A Message From the Director

Debbie at Panther Creek Park
Ross Leigh, Park Director

Daviess County Parks and Recreation was founded on community involvement and today as mirrored in our mission statement, remains family centered.  Ballgames, tournaments, and other special programs are all possible because of the genuine support of volunteers giving their time and effort.

Yellow Creek, Panther Creek and Horse Fork Creek Parks are award winners of Daviess County, over 350 acres of land that provide citizens opportunities for both intrinsic and extrinsic enjoyment  Tranquil, quiet locations along with thunderous ball diamonds allow users to study nature peacefully or cheer on their favorite ball team as a line drive flies over the third baseman and a run is scored.

Daviess County Parks and Recreation
 enjoys many visitors every year;
we invite you to be one of them by coming to any of our parks.

Remember to always, "Come Outdoors With Us"
